No. Our wax is a food-grade paraffin and non-toxic, as all candle waxes are, and approved by the FDA for use in food, cosmetics, and medical applications.
Natural (essential oils) or synthetic ingredients?

What wicks do you use? Do they contain lead?
Our wicks are all-natural cotton, cotton with a paper core, or a woven cotton-and-paper combination. We never use metal of any kind in our wicks, so they contain no lead.
Is candle soot harmful?
The small amount of soot a candle can produce is a natural part of the burning process and isn't a health hazard. To minimize it, keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch and place your candle away from drafts.
